Threelac - Probiotics

Years ago I had my blood tested for various food allergies.  I tested positive to being allergic to chicken, shrimp, and various other staple foods.   As a result, I had to follow a strict diet that excluded these items, but I failed miserably because it was too regimented and routine for me.

My naturopathic doctor also told me that I had Candida overgrowth caused by the excessive intake of antibiotics as a young boy.  One of which was the strongest drugs available for acne at the time - Accutane (by Roche).  Eventually, the same drug was taken off the market due to numerous class action lawsuits against the company years after.   Side effects included suicidal tendencies, Crohn's disease, various skin problems and other digestive disruptions.

At the time I was naive and willing to take anything to get rid of my bad skin. Unfortunately, I suffered greatly from the repurcussions.

For more than 10 years I have experienced skin problems, fatigue, inability to think clearly for long durations of time, and even symptoms of depression.  In a sense, I felt the effect of Candida on my physical and mental state almost as if it were sucking the life out of me.  Normally, Candida is a natural part of the body. But when the good intestinal flora (good bacteria) gets killed from heavy antibiotic use, it becomes systemic and morphs into a fungus.

I've tried different approaches which included limiting carbohydrates/sugars, taking anti fungals, and even detoxing.  I've taken all the suggestions such as  Tea tree oil, Bentonite Clay, Caproil, Coconut Oil, Raw Garlic, Honey, etc. And although I may have successfully gotten through a few months symptom free, Candida always seems to poke it's head back into my life.

One thing that I found effective was the Candida cleanse/fast that I did in Samui, Thailand.  Unfortunately, it was not the most conventional alternative.  So I tried to research other ways of "maintaining" my lifestyle until the next detox session.

One thing that I decided to try was this probiotic called ThreeLac. From what I've been reading, the reviews seemed quite positive.

I can tell you that in the last couple days of taking it, my rashes have been under control.  So I will have to keep you updated on my progressions
