So it's been about a month since I've been taking ThreeLac for my candida. There have been a couple things that I would like to note:
1) My morning bowel movements have been fantastic! We're talking great shape, size, and colour.
2) I've been craving sugar more than ever.
ThreeLac being such a powerful probiotic may be challenging Candida for a piece of my intestinal territory. Since we know that Candida thrives on sugar to survive, my body is craving it more than ever.
Anyone who can relate to IBS, Crohn's, or Celiac's understands that bowel movements can come in a variety of different shapes and sizes. Having a consistent and uniform bowel movement can be difficult to achieve. I spent my whole life pretty much dealing with digestive problems until I recently diagnosed myself having a gluten intolerance.
For someone who still has these types of issues, I would suggest to cut out all dairy, gluten and bad fat from your diet. Next, ensure that you're eating a lot of raw and fresh foods that contain good fibre, nutrients, and natural enzymes. Then top it off with a strong probiotic such as ThreeLac to promote a good digestive internal flora.
Another thing to keep in mind is that if your internal environment is highly acidic (low pH), you can be susceptible to stomach pains, diarrhea, headaches, sinus congestion and other symptoms. One thing I like to do to spike my pH level is take a teaspoon of Sodium Bicarbonate and mix it in with some fresh lemon juice. More than often, this has helped me balance myself out when in an acidic state.
Eventually you will be able to distinguish between feeling acidic and alkaline. Alkalinity promotes calmness, increased ability to focus, and a sense of equilibrium. Also, it creates an environment that is friendly for probiotic culture. So it might not be a bad idea to take Sodium Bicarbonate upon wakening followed by your probiotic.
After one month, you should be able to see significant improvement.
