Trying to gain lean muscle weight is very challenging for someone with a high metabolism. It is important to constantly be eating a decent amount of protein and carbohydrates in order to maintain your weight goals.
When I first started working out a couple of months ago I was having a hard time breaking out of the 143.5-145lb range. Finally, this past weekend I noticed a mere 2lb increase which is actually pretty good given my body type. A couple contributing factors to my weight gain can be attributed to the fact that:
1) I have been eating more meat than I normally do
2) My apetite has increased due to the cooler weather
3) I've been trying to increase the weight or repetitions in my workouts week over week.
After taking my recent photos, I noticed that my arms seem to be growing a bit bigger relative to the rest of my body.
