Tis the Season to be Snotty? Is it a Cold or Detoxification?

Not sure if snotty is even a word.  But that pretty much sums up how I've been feeling the past couple of days.

Of course during this time of year, someone around you is bound to get sick.  And I am no exception to this law.

The carbohydrates, the sugar cravings, the lack of sun, and the cold weather are all contributing factors to getting sick.

I've been wondering if I'm actually suffering from the cold or whether I am going through a detoxification phase that is giving off cold symptoms.  Nonetheless, it is a very difficult question and I am not in a rush to explore the answer since I am more preoccupied with wiping my face and blowing my nose.

My naturopath recently prescribed me minerals, liver replenishment supplements, and natural chelating agents, since my sluggish digestion and lack of energy have been my major issues.  I also received my hair test results which showed to be high in mercury and arsenic.  I'm not going to lie, but that freaked me out.

So now we're trying to get my liver back up to par while taking out the nasty heavy metals in my body.  Along with the prescriptions, I continue to take Threelac, Milk Thistle, and enzymes to help boost my immune system.

Perhaps, all the stuff that I'm ingesting into my body is causing a toxic overload.  Or perhaps, I picked something up off a public door handle?

All I know is that when this is over with, I will feel like a new man.
