Tomorrow will be the first time I play golf at a par 5 course. In all honesty, I'm not a big fan of golf.
It's too slow and lacks excitement. When I play soccer and I feel like relieving stress, I will run hard and take strong shots. It just doesn't work the same way with golf.
You need to have a proper stance, a proper swing, proper concentration on the ball, and proper control over your power.
Easier said than done.
Although I'm a tad unenthusiastic about golf, I want to challenge myself and use tomorrow's experience as a developmental exercise.
In fact I would like to set some simple goals:
1) To get one good putt in the hole
2) To get one straight drive with my driver
3) To get through all 18 holes with a sense of accomplishment
Is that too much to ask?
